The Simulation Showrunner

Installing from a .zip file:

1. Download the File:
   • After purchasing or downloading the game on itch.io, you should see a link to download a .zip file. Click on it to download.
2. Extract the File:
   • Once the download is complete, locate the .zip file on your computer (typically in your Downloads folder).
   • Right-click on the .zip file and choose 'Extract All' from the context menu.
   • Choose a location for the extracted files. It's recommended to create a new folder specifically for the game.
3. Play the Game:
   • Navigate to the folder where you extracted the files.
   • Look for the game's executable file (usually named something like SimulationShowrunnerSystem.exe).
   • Double-click on this file to run and play the game.

Adding the Game to Your Itch.io App Library:

1. Log into your Itch.io App:
   • If you haven’t already, download and install the itch.io app from here.
   • Launch the app and sign in using your itch.io credentials.
2. Add the Game to Your Library:
   • Navigate to the game's page (this page)
   • Click on the "Add to Collection" button in the top right corner. If you have multiple collections, choose the one where you'd like to add the game.
   • This action will add the game to your library and, in turn, allow you to receive automatic updates for it.
3. Install & Play:
   • Now, in your library, find "The Simulation Showrunner System - Internal Build".
   • Click the 'Install' button. Once the game is installed, you can launch it directly from the itch.io app by clicking the 'Play' button.
4. Create Shows:
   • Choose one of the available Simulations Worlds
     
   • Click "New Simulation"
   • Click on any Character Icon and choose "Write Story"
5. Watch and Review:
   • On the left tool bar, click on the film strip icon to open the showrunner menu
     
   • Click account at the top and log in with your credentials.
   • Reopen the menu and select any episode in the list to start playback.
